Strawberry Pickin!!

Today was the day....we went Strawberry picking! I cannot tell you how long I have wanted to go picking. Some of my favorite Summer memories are picking Strawberries with my Mom at Harvold Farms in Carnation. I remember eating everyone I picked & my Mom doing all the hard work. Well, today I was payed back and I really loved every minute of it!

Mayson was the Queen of picking the biggest Strawberry, taking a bite, then finding the next big one & taking a bite. I don't think she finished one whole Strawberry.

Say...."Strawberry Shortcake!!"

I didn't think we picked enough berries to make jam, (I was wrong-we picked more then enough) so we ran over to Remlingers to see if we could buy a picked flat....umm yeah not for $19 bucks!

I will stick with my $1 pound from Harvolds. But we did enjoy the photo op in front of the giant Strawberry!

While we were leaving the Strawberry patch, the HS boy weighing our berries said he liked Mayson shirt! I laughed & told him that her Uncle went to UofA but her Dad went to UW. He put her in the UofA shirt knowing that it could get Strawberries on it and stain it!! He laughed & turned to tell his buddy!

Sorry Uncle JJ! But just so you know, NO stains!! :)

Happy 60th Birthday Mimi!!

I don't know if I could tell you what Mayson likes more then a Birthday party.....maybe at this time in her life Mr. Sandman, but I still think a party might win....especially Mimi's Birhtday party!

I could be wrong...but either way she was so very excited to celebrate Mimi's Birthday with her!

Friday we celebrated Cayden's 3rd Birthday at Bounce in Preston. I really do wish I had access to this place everyday. Bounce Run Bounce! What more can I ask for??!!

Special Ladybug Delivery....

Sweet Miss May put on her special Ladybug wings to deliver extra love to DawnK & Lisa today.

Last week Dawn & Lisa lost a dear friend.

We wanted to make them smile, so who else then May to do the job??!!

Mayson helped me pick out the flowers, and plant them. She was so excited to bring the gifts to the girls. When Daddy got home we cruised out to the Nation & we were right.....May was exactly what they needed!!

Happy Father's Day Grandpa!!

When we were out in the Nation to see Dawn & Lisa we stopped by to give Grandpa his Father's Day gift. Mayson was so excited to go to Grandpa's house...she gets the same thing every time...raisins & cookies! She talks about it the whole ride out there. Grandpa is always prepared with the box of raisins already sitting out on the counter!!

We had a very relaxing Father's Day weekend, it was just what we all wanted. A little more sunshine would have been nice, but hey this is Seattle not Scottsdale!! Darn it! :)

We made it out to our favorite park without getting rained on...not much more we could hope for!

Daddy got to sleep in both days & breakfast was made for him from his girls on Sunday.

All in all a perfect little weekend.

Meet baby Sloane Nicole Poort!!

As you all know Miss Sloane was born June 15th at 3:43am.

Mayson is so excited to have a baby girl cousin! We think shes thinking...ohh a new one for me to boss around. Well, I'm sure Mayson will have her time telling baby Max & baby Sloane what to do, but I have a feeling Max & Sloane will definitely be paying little Miss Sassy pants back before she knows it!

My Futures So Bright.....

Poor Max is starting to learn what it is like to be the "little" brother. Mayson could not stop laughing at Mr. Max with her sunglasses on. She kept saying, "do it again!" Then she asked me to take a picture of him. Poor guy...but not for long...he will pay her back I'm sure in due time!

I can honestly say I'm not a huge fan of character shoes at all. I will not buy any for my kids until they ask/beg for them. I know I'm so mean, but they just bug for what ever reason. Although, I did happen to find some really cute Spiderman sandals for Brandon. They really are cute! I did asked myself before I bought them if I would let Max wear them....and YES I would....so he got them!! :)

Unfortunately, his little piggies were too big for the shoes I got him. Thank god they had the right size in Vegas. As you can see he is a happy 4 year old boy with new shoes that make him run & play extra fast!!

Sister Love!!

It was about 7:15pm tonight when we finally had to go & pick MayPie up out of the backyard & bring her in. When I opened the door this is how I found her....playing with her puppy Booyah...no pants, no shoes, diaper, upside sunglasses & her hat!!

Matt & I watched her from the window play & she kept the glasses on like that the whole time. We now are so used to her "style" that we just shake our heads & take a picture if she will let us.

God I Love this crazy girl!! She really does get goofyer & goofyer each day.

Meet Fiona Jane!!

Beautiful Fiona was born June 10th at 3:41am

Momma Jennie & Daddy Willie are on cloud nine with their first new bundle of sweetness.

Seattle Aquarium With Her Peeps!

May finally got a trip to the Aquarium. Mimi watched baby Hoss for us so we could have some girl time. Well, girl time with all her boys of course! Mayson was excited to hear that baby Max was not going with us, (poor Max) she loves to have me all to herself! Sweet girl!! :) But as soon as she heard that Cayden, Tyler & Carter where going to be there she was ecstatic! Mr. Sandman could not make the trip. That left Mayson so confused on why. I must have heard about 10x + "What happened"? My same answer over & over & over was..."nothing happened, his Grandpa is with him & they get to play together today". Then 2 minutes later, (not even) "What happened"? Needless to say it was a very deep conversation between us ALL the way to see the fishes! haha!

Here is May with all her boys once again. I don't think she realizes how lucky she really is to have all these cute boys to herself! She really has no girlfriends around her age to play with. Plus side....she will grow up to be really tough....down side.....she will be so boy crazy & think they all are HER boyfriends!

It was so incredibly hard to keep all 4 kids together, let alone get a picture of them. But, I did manage to get a picture of May watching the seal sunbathe. woohooo!!

All in all we had a fun time at the Aquarium. Mayson needs to be a little bit older before we go back, or not so excited to run everywhere. It was really hard to keep her in one area & keep in the group. With 4 kids runny everywhere, us Moms had no time to talk to each other. But then again, I guess it wasn't about us??!! Thank god Mimi watched Max for us!

S O C C E R!!!

Miss Pie had her first soccer practice! We are going to sign her up for Summer Camp, but we wanted to make sure she liked it before we enrolled her.

She LOVED it! She now will just randomly tell me..."I want to play soccer"!!

First....you take a knee or in this case sit on a ball & LISTEN...FOLLOW DIRECTION....

Second....you do the drill!!

Good May...you did it!!!

Sounds easy right?!! I hope so!!

Mayson will be with 3-4 year olds. (she is 2.5) She will be able to stay in the "big kid" class if she does listen & follow direction. If not she will be put into a class with 2.5-3.5 year olds.

So, lets see if she can be a GOOD listener!!

Come on Mayson Please!! For big momma!! :)

Soccer does not start until Wednesday, June 16th....we both cannot wait.

Little Kids On A Big Bus!!

I think you could probably chalk today up for one of Mayson's best yet. She got to ride a real school bus!!

Cayden's Grandmomma is a school bus driver....how cool is that??!! Mayson is no dummy for keeping him around...once she heard that she sweet talked Cayden for a ride. With just a little help from Mommy we got it down on paper & we were there....backpack & all!

All buckled in & ready for the ride from Carnation Middle School to the High School in Duvall.
