Cool Dad

While Matt was on paternity leave, he was the "cool" dad of the neighborhood. He learned all the kids names and became buddies with them. Now when we walk outside the kids are all, "hi Matt!" One thing we learned, is we are not the only crazy ones on our block. The neighbors have 4 kids and they all start with A. Not sure if they are a triple A, but they are still nuts! Weirdo's! :)

Baby Miles is 1 week old

Bobba, Mimi and the Poort's all came over to bring us dinner and hang with our new little prince.
Captain Awesome got a new lens, we got a new model and in turn a bunch of really "awesome" pictures.

After dinner the little "big" kids got a cookie for eating so good.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

This is why...

we don't answer the phone, return calls, house is a hot mess, I'm a hot mess, showers don't get taken, teeth don't get brushed, pj's are on at 2pm, lights are on at 2am and I don't blog much.

Max got tubes

3 days after Dumpy's little brother was born, we were back at Evergreen.
Matt brought Max to his 6:15am surgery appointment.
As they walked in, look who was waiting for them....BOBBA!!

The surgery lasted all of 15 minutes and it went perfectly.
Knock on wood...ears are great and no antibiotics since!
At the last check at the pediatrician office, the doc told me we needed to keep Max in a bubble. Awesome.
He is so that kid, but we are working on making him not that kid.

Miles Matthew Morell

Our new little man arrived just as I had hoped, prayed and wished.
He is my Mom's birthday twin
 and
Mimi and Bobba's 40th wedding anniversary present!
We could not of asked for a better day for our last member to arrive on.

6am waiting for my pitocin to kick in.

Matt was parking the car when I arrived in my room. The nurse told me to take my time and when I was ready to put on my gown that was hanging on the back of the bathroom door. When I grabbed the gown, this is the bag that was hanging under it. I literally stood there and starred at it forever. I smiled and cried knowing that my Mom was with me.

All 3 kids presents to eachother.

PERFECT!

First tubby with Dad. Matt is the tubby guy at our house. He tubbys #1 & #2...and now of course #3.
I have not given Miles a tub yet. Matt is too much of a professional. I'm the scared one.

My #1 girl.

My #2 boy.

The paparazzi family is here to meet my #3 boy.

Happy 40th Anniversary Mimi...

Happy 40th Anniversary Bobba!

Mayson meeting her new little brother. She loves him! She cannot get enough of this little dude.
May thinks he is the cutest, funniest and best baby. We are so happy she is so happy with him!!

Could not of been happier that Amy was with us once again.

Robin with our new man.

Sissy checking out her baby brothers paws.

Look at all the dark hair. CRAZY! #1 & #2 were about bald with a little blonde fuzz.
This dude has tons of dark hair..tons! He is our little Carlos after all! :)

Our first family photo of 5!

Like I predicted, getting us all to look good in 1 picture is near impossible, but I'm totally OK with it!
I love it, I love that we can't all pull it together, I love all of us, I love all of us all together, and
I love that our family is complete!

Delivery went just as fast like the 2 before. Easy peasy.
I did have a little epidural problems, so I felt everything for a good 30 minutes.
Of course, during those 30 minutes (felt like 30 hrs) I dilated from a 7 to a 10. Ouch doesn't even begin to describe the pain, but the epidural kicked back in just in time for "go" time and it was a breeze.
We are all very happy, very busy, very tired, and very much in love with our new addition to our family.

Thank you to everyone who came to visit (didn't get pictures of everyone) and thank you for bringing us food after we got home. We are so excited to get passed "survival" mode and start going out again!! I have lots more pictures that will be up soon. (I promise Uncle JJ...soon!)

Happy Birthday Momma
&
Happy 40th Anniversary Mimi & Bobba!

Family of 4
waiting for our final member!

Today was a gorgeous day filled with a lot of lasts. Our last full day of a family of 4. Well, Matt kept reminding me-really we are a family of 5 (including Booyah) and will become a family of 6! I get that, I understand that, but since I technically didn't give birth to Boo (thank you sweet Jesus) I'm going t say 4-soon to be 5. No hard feelings with Boo, I love you like a daughter! :)

First thing this morning Matt took both kids to craft day at Home Depot. I was so excited to have a nice and quite house for about an hour. Loved it! Matt only was going to take May, but poor Dump always gets left behind. He agreed to take him and I reminded Matt, that by tomorrow taking 2 to HD is going to be much easier then taking 3!

May chose to make a sailboat over a business card holder for her dad for Fathers Day.
Shot down Daddy...feelings were a little hurt. Max will do it for you next time.

Around 6pm we loaded up the car for one last ride in the family truckster with just the 4 of us. We played Lady Gaga and bombed out to Mimi and Bobba's to have dinner and drop #1 and #2 off for a few days.
Sorry about the angle MayPie! You look like a little chub monster, but trust me we know you are not. You don't eat enough to be a chub whub!

Mayson will now sit in the middle and baby Carlos will sit behind me.
May in the middle of the boys...oh lord wish me luck! Wish the boys luck! :)

Our last family photo of 4!

Getting just the 4 of us to all smile, look at the camera, have eyes open and look half way descent...I think is near impossible.

Can't wait to see what our show will be like with +1.

So far my hope, prayer, dream and wish is coming true.
I'm scheduled to be induced tomorrow. My check in time is 5am.
According to my Dr. she will probably be in to break my water between 8-9am and baby Carlos should make his arrival around 12-2pm!!
YIPPEE!!
So excited, but I still have to make one last call at 3:30am to make sure no other prego's took my bed in the middle of night...better not have! That's in like 3.5 hours, so I'm off to lay in bed and pray a lot that soon I will be laying in the hospital bed with pitocin pumping through me.
Wish us luck....it's going to be a beautiful day to meet our boy for the first time.
