Let it snow, let it snow, now ENOUGH snow!!!

We have had a very busy week, with 1 year Dr. visit, snow, little Christmas shopping, getting our Christmas Tree, snow and umm...more snow!

Mayson had her 1 year Dr. check on Tuesday! Of course, she is perfect and all around "average" for all her measurements!

Miss Mayberry Pie's stats are-

Weight - 21 lbs. 1 oz (50%)
Length - 29 1/4 in. (50%)
Mellon - 17 3/4 in. (50%)

She did get all her immunization shots along with the flu shot :( She did really well, cried just a little, but was a very good girl.

Here is Miss Pie waiting in her diaper for the Dr. to come in and tell her she is perfect!! :)

Miss Mayson in her big girl car seat posing for the camera! I think she looks so much like her Uncle Kevin when he was little! Stinkin cute!!

Now here she is looking like her Uncle Jared when he was little! Crazy- I promise she is a girl! :)

While Matt and I went to get a Christmas Tree, Amy watched Mayson for us! Snuggled in eating lunch!

Here we are bombing around town in "White Lightning"! Christmas Tree and all! Gotta love it!
The Grizwalds!

Finally our tree is up! It is really pretty-the picture does not give it justice! You need to come see in person!

Amy has been "snowed" in at our house since Tuesday! She is the perfect person to get stuck with! She loves to decorate, craft, watch May and CLEAN!! Yippee! Amy and Mayson are also best friends so that is really the best part!

No we did not have a bear in our back yard- that is Booyah's paw print! We need to trim those talons! :)

Matt went to the Seahawk game and had to walk down to the bottom of the hill and walk back! 1 mile each way...brrr! It was all worth it to watch the Hawks win and he came home and made a victory Snow Angel! Nice work Montana Matt!!

Look how much snow we got!

"Ohhh" Christmas Tree!!

On Saturday, we ventured out looking for our First Christmas Tree in WA. all together. We did not find the "perfect" tree yet, but did get some pictures at the Tree lot!

Mayson & Daddy! Mayson is busy flirting with the other customers!

Mommy needs a hat!

It snowed & Booyah loves it!! She could stay out in the snow forever. We try to remind her that she is a "Desert girl", but she doesn't care!
Gramps Birthday was on the 11th, so Kevin made him a Grateful Dead cake! He shipped it here and it made it!
On Sunday, we went over to my Dad's house to celebrate him turning 62!
We also got a little Christmas Tree for my Mom and we decorated it with ornaments and lights. It is so pretty! Mayson kept saying "Ohhh" when she saw it!

It's starting to look a lot like Christmas.......

On the weekends it has become a tradition in our family for Matt to take Mayson shopping, get coffee or just run errands. He loves to spend the extra "one on one" time with her and also LOVES the attention he gets!! So, here they are this morning on their way to go grocery shopping for breakfast!!
Two peas in a pod!!
HO, HO, HO!!
Mayson loving her Daddy!

Two Monkeys ready to go! Nana got May the great Santa Hat!

While they were gone, I started getting ready for Christmas! Just started-have so much more to do, but made some progress.

Stockings are hung! Just need our tree! Maybe this week or next weekend!

Light up a Life Ceremony for Grandma

Tonight we went to the Light up a Life Ceremony for my Mom at Evergreen Hospital. They had a very nice Ceremony and prayer. They had paper ornaments that we wrote our loved ones name on, then we hung them on the tree. We all counted down and the tree lit up. It was really pretty.
Shannon, Amy, Shantel, Madison, Jake & Mya all joined us to help remember Grandma. Mayson was a good girl during the Ceremony. She talked a bit so Shantel took her out of the room to play with the dog they had there. It was a Lassie dog-Mayson loved it! Thank you guys for coming to this with us. It means more to me then I could ever tell you.

Thanksgiving in Vegas!!

While we were eating Thanksgiving dinner, this Rainbow was out Pete's kitchen window! It was so bright and big. It was beautiful and just what we needed-perfect timing!

Mommy and Mayberry on Thanksgiving day!

Uncle Kevin made this Ladybug cake for Mayson! He named the cake "Hope". He said we all needed to have a piece of "Hope" this year! So true!

Mayson and cousin Kaileah with her Ladybug cake "Hope"! :)
Not only did it look great it was super yummy too! Mayson's favorite cake- Thank you Uncle Kevin!

Mayson in her new jacket from Uncle Pete and Auntie Lisa! It is a size 2T so next winter it will fit her perfect. So cute!

Mayson and cousin Brandon in the tub together! Kaileah was in too, but I didn't get a good picture with all 3 monkeys in the tub.

Mayson with Auntie Angella!
We went to Vegas to spend Thanksgiving with my family. We stayed at Uncle Pete's and Auntie Lisa's til Friday then stayed with Uncle Kevin and Auntie Angella til Sunday. We had a great time. It was so nice to all be together for the Holiday. I wish I had more pictures of everyone.
Mayson did really well on the plane there and back. She has a swivel head, so it was hard for her to relax and sleep. She had fun flirting with everyone that was getting up to use the restroom.
When we got home on Sunday, Uncle Jared picked us up and Mayson was reunited with him again. It has been since August since they last saw each other. I did not get any pictures from Sunday, but will do better next Holiday.
Thank you everyone for all Mayson's birthday presents and all the great food! We had a great time and we hope to see you all soon.
Happy Thanksgiving!!

Just a few of the many pictures we took of Mayson's birthday party! It was so much fun decorating and coming up with so many ideas. As you can see I kinda went a little crazy, but that's ok-it's her 1st Birthday!! Amy was here to help me go crazy too, so I can't say I'm the only "nut job"!!
