Uncle Kevin is in the house!!
Woot woot!

My brother made an unexpected/not planned trip up to beautiful rainy Seattle.
He was only here for 4 days-more like 3 days but it was AWESOME to see him.
It had been over 2 years since we have seen him and that of course would make it the first time he has met Max. Obviously, awhile since seeing the Pie too. It was quick, it was busy, but it was a nice visit. Seeing him reminds me how much I miss him. I loved  every hot minute he was here, but hope that its not another 2+ years til we see you again. Since I'm hoping...I hope to see the rest of his family soon too. Miss all them like crazy.

Uncle Kevin kept telling The Milian that...he has his back and he is on his side...being a middle child and all...they have to stick together.

The special middle child bond was formed within minutes.

Trying hard to get a picture of the kids with Uncle Kevin.
#1 did not want to participate once again.

We miss you so much already and wish the visit was longer, much longer.
There is still so many more places we need to eat at with you!
Thanks for coming up brother!

Long overdue visit

We finally made dinner plans with Miss Fiona and her awesome parents! We trucked out to Lake Stevens and had yummy tacos and lots of kid fun. We missed poor Wyatt and his mom and dad. Wyatt was sick, so dinner will be again soon.

Little Miss is now 9 months old.

Mr. Morell trying to convince Miss Fiona to just give him her food when it comes. It works with his sissy, why wouldn't it work on her?!

Max loved this football.
He carried it around and took hand offs from Matt like a pro.We definitely need to get this kid a ball.

Skills like Bobba?! Perhaps!
And a dream boy for Mimi!

We tried to get Max into this bumbo to eat and his thighs wouldn't fit.
Look who fit right in..with room to move around!

Pig pile

It was fun until Max decided to plant his junk on Matts face....

...and May decided to take Max's bottle.

Fiona going in for a kiss from the Hoss Man...

...but he wasn't interested. Max kept giving Fiona the stink eye.
You don't share your food...I don't share my lips! :)

"Your daughter was trying to kiss me!"
Good people...good people!
Guess "Whooo" turned 1?!

Yep, another baby has officially turned a toddler!
Toryn Slettvet!
Tammy did an awesome job with Toryn's owl themed party.

Special order owl birthday cake made by Toryn's grandma!
Adorable!

Singing the song, and waiting for...

big brother Sandman to blow out the candles!

Time to dig in girlfriend...go for it...

..but she stays classy with little bites! Must be a girl Morell thing to go elbow deep?!

Party favors and fun.

Omg..I'm still dreaming of the food they had at T's birthday party! (weird, I know!)
Brian made ribs that were A-MAZE-ING!! And then B's dad made homemade bbq sauce that made the ribs B-YOND A-MAZE-ING!! I'm usually not a crazy fan for ribs..I will eat them sure, but to want to belly up to the counter and pull up my sleeves, but a bib on and eat them like Max ate his 1st birthday cupcake was all I really kept dreaming about!! :) Trust me, Matt wanted to do it too! You know you married the right person, when on the way home you talk about the ribs, bbq sauce and ohh...B's homemade coleslaw! Now if we could just get MayPie on this fatkid bus..we would be set! (not sure if she is ours!)

Dump Truck getting the rundown on when he gets teeth...you get to have ribs! :)

Woot woot! Get your A's up for ribs dumpy!

Little love from sissy.

T's owl headband from the Morell gang!

Happy 1st Birthday Miss Toryn!
Your a peanut butter like Mayson and I LOVE IT!
You and Max are soon to get the (love) bug like your big brother and his big sissy.
I have a feeling you two might be just a little less loco?!! We can dream anyway!!
Love you little girl and thanks for having us over to celebrate!

Guess what I can do?!

*I have been doing it for a couple weeks now
* Every day I get much better
* It's now my favorite thing to do
*My sissy laughs at me when I do it
*Uncle JJ is mad that it took my Momma this long to give me props

I can walk!

My Momma took another really cute video of me, but I can't get it to download. I need to ask my computer geeky Dadda how to do it! There will be many more videos of me walking soon. Sorry my Mom is a slacker...that's what #2 kid gets I guess?!
Poor baby Carlos! That kid doesn't have a chance!

Love, Max
Deals been made.

Max did it! All on his own. Just like his big sissy did all on her own.
He claimed his blankey. Monkeys from Mimi!
He is just like May with her blanket when she first started off.
Loves to give it random hugs and kisses, has to grab it from you when going to bed, and points for it when going to the car. So, now we have May with duckies and...

Max with monkeys!

And now we have his monkey. Robin gave this little Curious George to Mayson last weekend and immediately Max took it over. To my surprise May was totally fine with it. She had never mentioned anything about it being hers. Good big sissy!  Max now treats his monkey the same way he treats his monkey blanky. Lots of hugs and kisses and has to go where he goes. Funny how fast he became attached to it.

Thank you Mimi again for monkeys!
And thank you Robin for monkey!

Busted Again!

Every day Max I get busted.
I seriously can't leave this boy alone or with May (so basically alone!) for 2 seconds.
Today I was trying to get some what presentable for when Mimi came by to pick up May for dance.
Then once again...I hear "Momma come quick, Max got into the coffee!"
"Coffee?!" How? I was thinking no way.
Umm..yes way!

A trail leading to the crime scene..

...the scene...

...and the criminal!

Busted dude! Really?
Coffee grounds?!

These pictures really don't show the mess of the house or of Dump Truck! (Matts new nickname for Max)
This kid seriously eats like a gold fish. He NEVER gets full. And he apparently will eat whatever from where ever.
Ohh...the best part of it is- the coffee is hazelnut flavor! Yes...that would fall under the tree nut category!
No rash, no coughing, no reaction, so no liquid benedryl.
So, yes I was busted again because I took my eye off of him again.
Not sure when either one of us will learn.
Thank god I have May to tattle on him! :) Or be my backup babysitter.
Nothing gets by that chick!
I'm too hot!

May and I were running errands today and she got way too hot I guess?!
It was nap time, she was tired, and she wanted to take her clothes off in the car. I tried to reason with her and roll down the window and I turned on the air, but nope she had to have her clothes OFF!
"Fine...take them off! But keep your undies on!"
Of course, it has to be the day she wore Mr. Sandmans undies to school.
Sander gave them to Max, but because they are from Sander she has to wear them!
That was another battle I choose not to pick this morning.

So, when we got home she slipped her boots on from the car and ran to check the mail!

This is MayPie at her finest. Her true self! If she could...if we let her...she would always be dressed in this sort of fashion. Well, either this or a bikini and boots!

See Matt, maybe living out in the Valley wouldn't be such a bad thing?
May would fit right in and feel her best all the time! :)

Love you silly girl!

P.S. Max just starred at her and laughed as she ran around like a loony!

Snoqualmie Falls

When we woke up this morning all Mayson wanted to know was what we were going to do today. I had zero plans and zero ideas, until this brilliant one hit me!
Lets take the back roads to Snoqualmie Falls and see the water fall!
The kids have never been and going for a long drive so they could sleep in the car sounded perfect for a case of the Mundays.

Mayson thought we could go swimming in the falls. I kept telling her no, its not like that. I tried and tried to explain it to her, but not until she saw the falls did she understand. She looked at me and said, "I gotcha Momma!" It all clicked!

Max loved it too. He kept pointing saying.."Ohhh!"

We moved to another look out - much drier here.

Then the over the highway bridge was spotted! Omgosh..it was as cool as the water fall to them.
Max was screaming and pointing at it.

Lets go!

She left us.

Max loved watching the cars go under.

Found a nice little bench.

Max not happy that we left the bridge to sit by some pretty flowers.

We had an awesome time at the falls just the 3 of us. I made a promise to Mayson and Max that when the weather got nicer we will be back and have a picnic. She still wants to hike down and go swimming, so if anyone is interested...there is a really cute 3 year blonde that would LOVE to join you! :)
I would, but I'm not quite sure how I would get 3 kids down, swim with them, then hike back up. We would never make it back up...maybe just keep floating to Carnation and have DawnK pick us up at the Tolt bridge?! :)
