Cookies, Toys & Puppies.....

What more can a girl ask for??!!

I made some chocolate chip cookies this weekend for Miss Pie! I was thinking that she was going to go "crazy" with them & make a mess, so I stripped her down to her diaper and.....

she had a few bites, got just a little messy, then.......


ALL DONE!! NO MORE!!
Miss Pie kept looking at me like, sorry Mom just not feeling it! Needless to say I was a little disappointed that she did not create the mess I was waiting for. It also makes me wonder if she is MY girl? That is all I ate while I was pregnant! Cookies, cookies & cookies!




I put May in her playpen while I was vacuuming & when I walked around the corner she had thrown all her toys out! When I started to pick them all up I realized that maybe she is just a little overwhelmed with how many are in there. Just needed room to breathe I guess?!

The Pie & I went out to Monroe to see Maddy at her 4H presentation. Mayson was so happy to see all the puppies! She loves puppy Bentley! (pictured below)

I could not keep her socks & shoes on the whole time we were there. Here she is excited to show us that she got them off AGAIN!! :)

We were in full Patty Day spirits this year!

On Saturday, my Dad came over & we made corn beef & cabbage! So festive!

Then on Sunday, Matt, Mimi(formally known as Nana), and myself walked the St. Patrick's Day Dash in Seattle! YES in the snow, rain & wind! We were troopers! It was a lot of fun. Could have been warmer, but it wasn't & we didn't melt!

Here we are all ready to hit the road! Starbucks in hand! Everything is better with a coffee.

We weren't the only "nut jobs" out in the weather!



While we walked, Mayson stayed home all snuggled in with Bobo(formally known as Bumpa or Grandpa)! Miss Pie DOES melt so we kept her in doors!
After our walk we meet up with everyone for a warm, well deserved breakfast!

We were a little jealous that they were warm & in bed at 7am on a Sunday, but who can really blame them?!
Miss Pie was just happy she got to see her Auntie! Ohh...she LOVES her Auntie Kelly!

St. Patrick's Day is just another reason to make cupcakes! So, of course Amy & I were all over it!
They were so good!! As you can see...I could not wait to eat mine....wrapper already off before we took pictures....rookie move!

Put Me in the Zoo!!

Last Wednesday we went to the Zoo! Miss Pies 1st time!

We were worried they would take her & keep her with the monkeys, but we were lucky this time.....they didn't need a blonde monkey that day!

I think her hat scared them away!

We went with Amy (of course), Kim & her 2 year old son Lathan, & Lathan's Aunt Nicole!

Mayson was more interested in Lathan then she was the giraffes. It was also FREEZING out....as you can see by the way we are dressed.

Miss Pie did not get a nap all day. After the Zoo, Amy & I took her to get Shnoo yogurt in Kirkland! If you have not been, you need to go...Yumm..Mee!!

Mayson is such a sweet girl! With NO nap & Amy & I running her around town she is still as happy as can be! Sorry about the hat hair & dark circles under her eyes. I take full responsibility for them. We got home and she was in bed at 5:30pm & slept till 7am!

Up & happy the next day with her batteries all fired up!!

As the book says...Put me in the Zoo.....but with all the things that you can do the Circus is the place for you!!

So, I don't think I will be taking May to the Circus...they will keep her for sure!! :)

Length- 30 1/2 in. (50%)

Weight- 22 lbs. 2 oz (45%)

Mellon- 18 in. (50%)

Miss Pie did have to get 2 more shots today. :(

She did cry a little more then usual today after her shots. Once we were in the car she feel asleep & woke up to see her best friend Amy! Then she forgot about her sore arm!!

After her perfect report from the Dr. we went to the park to forget about those yucky shots!

To end our day we went to meet up with Miss Pie's best friend Amy & top it off with a pickle! :)
