lucky us

well, more like lucky little leprechaun. we tried...we tried really hard to catch him, but
nope not this year. mayson wanted to keep him forever. he would live with us.
he would live in his trap and we would feed him. so really lucky leprechaun.

that lucky little red headed leprechaun did show up tho.
he came, he knocked over benches, he put streamers up, he left little green footprints
everywhere with gold glitter, he played in the sugar bowl, he dyed
the milk green, the toilet bowl green, he left little treats for the kids
and left his irish flag so we knew it was him.

he climbed the ladder and we almost got him. the
trap was down when we woke up.

he left us a box of lucky charms.

dad made us rainbow pancakes.

then dad made us corned beef with cabbage and green mashed potatoes.

little irish jig.

then me and the kids made rainbow cakes in mason jars.

presentation zero.

taste ten.

at the end of the day mayson was happy we didn't catch the leprechaun.
we talked a lot about how we can improve our trap for next year.
so look out little man...next year you may have a permanent home with the crazy morells.
and then we all agreed...
we are the lucky ones!!!
